Hitch The Movie – Good Women Really Do Want Nice Good Guys

Friday night I decided to watch Hitch. I’ve changed a lot since I first saw it, so I was looking forward to not just the entertainment (I was – and still am – a huge Will Smith fan), but what I would learn.

Well, what I learned is that good women really do want nice good guys. But so many of those nice good guys are afraid for one reason or another to display leadership and assertiveness. Watching the movie not only left me almost in tears from laughing, but asking “Where are the men like Hitch who are showing men today how to go after women they’re serious about?”

I’ve said it before that I’m done spending any more time guys who don’t know and don’t care how to treat women like women. I just can’t… But I can have hope that God is preparing the right man for me just like He’s preparing me for him.

The biggest lesson from this movie? In the end, nice men CAN win if they have a plan and are assertive. So ladies, keep praying that your nice good guy will have someone like Hitch to show them how to sweep YOU off your feet.
