Single and struggling through the holidays? #LetsTalkAboutIt
Almost every single woman I know who wanted to get married has been there…
Struggling through the holidays – perhaps because of the thought of spending yet another one alone.
The past few years during the holidays have been some of the best in my life. I spent them with friends and family I love, and found ways to do loving and caring things for others. No matter where I was in the world, my life was filled with what mattered most – people who I loved dearly and who loved me.
But as a single woman, I also understand the down side of being single and struggling through the holidays. It can bring on anxiety and even depression. And well-meaning friends and family only make it worse by trying to “cheer you up”. If you’re fretting over the holidays, please join us this Thursday 11/20/2014 at 7pm EST for fellowship, encouragement and practical strategies on how to enjoy the upcoming holiday season – not just get through it.
